Art Description (What inspired you to create the artwork?) This trip was my first visit to the state of California and this image captures the first time I truly experienced the Pacific Ocean. I was heavily inspired by the atmosphere of the Santa Monica Pier, watching people enjoy the rides above and others enjoy the beach below.
