Water Lilies

I created this artwork by putting my faith in God's plans and trusting he knows the best. It was a struggle to find a grip in this new country where everything feels unfamiliar. I suffered from anxiety attacks and homesickness trying to find a way out it. So one day, I saw a photo of water lilies and I instantly knew I wanted to paint it. This painting felt like hope. Even though struggle is like muddy water, lilies always grow to find a way out and spread happiness. I had tears when I completed it and since that day, this painting sits in my temple where the Gods are. They bring me much joy and comfort every day knowing that I can face whatever struggles are thrown my way.
