Art Description (What inspired you to create the artwork?) As an international student, who flew across the world, missing the food made by my mother's hand has been the most painful separation that I experienced. Every day that passes here, my tastebuds crave that taste, masala, spices, and most importantly the love of my mom. The inspiration to create the "Love of Mothers" came from this deep feeling of homesickness that almost every international student experiences every day that they pass. This is my contribution to taking all the Indians down the memory lane when our mothers made the most amazing "Poha" for us in breakfast which we all miss today, maybe we didn't cherish it that much back then, we didn't realize that we will miss it so much that our eyes would fill with tears. We all are waiting to experience that taste again and when it will, our eyes will be filled with tears again.
