Art Description: I'm an international student from the Philippines and in May 2022, we're going to have our national elections. It's my first time voting and I wanted to use my skill in the arts to help campaign for Leni Robredo, a presidential candidate who I believe is the right fit to serve the Filipinos. Leni's campaign color is pink and based on that, I wanted to make an artwork where pink is part of the color palette, so I came up with a digital artwork of a girl with pink hair. The connection to my candidate of choice is there, albeit subtle and low-key. Leni Robredo is my role model and she served as the inspiration for this piece.
