Title of Artwork: Blueprint of Our Future
Art Description: This piece was inspired by cyanotype photographs of plants, as this was process used in the 19th century. This process is also used to make architectural blueprints. I wanted to show how plants can be a metaphor for technology, as they both have the same purposes: to communicate, to grow, to bear children, to evolve/breed new ideas, to encourage sustainability and diversity, and to never forget the past.
