Title of Artwork: Art Style Challenge
Art Description: I was inspired by other artists abilities to replicate artsyles of shows I loved. I wanted to take the chance to draw one of my original characters in those styles because I typically liked to imagine what it'd be like if I put that character in those shows/games. The artstyles all had some hidden meaning to me and the reason I picked certain styles was because they all had a special meaning to me.

I took all the anime/game logos from the internet but the art/character is all my own.

Danganronpa - One of the first games I ever watched. I consider it my favourite thing to watch when I'm down which is ironic considering the premise. However, this show is one of the shows that give me strength to move on in tough times.
Kimetsu No Yaiba/Demon Slayer - I got into the show that year. This show was the reason I met my best friend who's like a sister to me. I feel extremely drawn to certain characters in the show such as Kanao Tsuyuri and I knew the eye style was going to be inspired by her (as kny/demon slayer has many unique eye styles)
Haikyuu - One of my favourite animes of all time that taught me not to give up. The artstyle feels simple but I found it rather complicated to replicate with the character I chose to draw. The show is more realistic compared to the others and that meant I had to alter the colors a little. I had fun shading with this style and it is one of the only shows I'll recommend others to watch with full confidence.
Boku no Hero Academia/My Hero Academia - I used to be a big fan of this show at the time and I wanted to try drawing in this unique artsyle. I made friends with kind people in the fandom and wanted to showcase that.
Little Witch Academia - I wasn't sure what I was going to include here but I saw a video that talked about how the way LWA compares old magic and new magic is similar to how artists today have to face the coming of new types of art with the existence with older ones. The hopeful protagonist, Akko, was the reason I wanted to pursue a more art driven career and I owe it to her that I am here.
Puella Magi Madoka Magica/Madoka Magica - One of the read animes I watched. I read the manga at first but then I watched the anime. As depressing as the show is, I loved the characterization and the meaning of hope that was portrayed in the darkness. This artstyle was particularly fun because of the different coloured outlines and pastel colors I needed to use.
Sailor Moon - Sailor Moon was the reason I got into anime. I know that the anime is old and the colours can be displeasing nowadays but older 90's animes have a special place in my heart. Sailor moon stands alongside Kodocha, Cardcaptor Sakura, and Angelic Layer as one of my favourites. I love the way eyes used to be drawn then and aimed for something like that.
Show By Rock - Also called SB69 (a now no longer functioning game) was the second anime I ever saw. The music and the sanrio version of the characters were adorable and I loved the plot and friendship of the characters. I own this anime on a dvd and because of the ads on it, I was introduced to another anime I love: Akagami no Shirayuki-hime/Snow White with the Red Hair. The artstyle always entranced me and I found it cute which was another factor to including it. The happiness I felt when watching the show was phenomenal. I almost wish I drew the 3d version of their sanrio forms looking back on it, however the eyes were and still are everything to me when looking at this piece.
Fairy Tail - Also introduced to me by Show by Rock, Fairy Tail is one of the 3rd animes I ever saw. Looking back on it, I can say it's definitely not as good as when I first saw it. However, I can say with full confidence that it helped me become who I am today. I know that my friends are always going to be like family I choose, and that blood doesn't affect what the definition of family is.
