Title of Artwork: Full Colour Tastes Better
Art Description: This art project was created with the purpose of shedding light on the importance of individuality in a society that is heavily dominated by algorithms. In a world where social media and other platforms exert an immense influence on our lives, the pressure to conform to trending styles and opinions can be overwhelming. However, with Edison Cortes' exceptional Art Direction and Leroy Agholor's masterful photography skills, the unique tastes of each individual can be brought to the forefront. The focus on fashion and street photography in this project allows us to demonstrate how feeling confident in one's personal style can lead to greater confidence in other areas of life. Participants were encouraged to express their true selves without the aid of social media or mood boards, relying solely on their own creativity and interests. The project thus serves as a powerful reminder that true individuality lies in embracing one's own distinct perspective and celebrating what makes us different.
