Title of Artwork: In The Fountain
Art Description: When I attended the Every Child Matters protest in the summer of 2021, I was very moved when we reached City Hall and all the children gleefully ran into the fountain to cool off and play. I thought it was symbolic of the innocence and optimism of children and made me think of how similar these children are to those who lost their lives or suffered trauma in the residential schools.
