Humber welcomed more than 1,800 new learners to our North and Lakeshore campuses this week. Orientation sessions kicked off with academic opening ceremonies where students learned about Humber, academic success and the numerous support services available to them.
Our newest ‘Hawk Nation’ members met their faculty and classmates and had the opportunity to learn more about their program, student expectations and ask questions at program-specific sessions. Students also participated in campus tours to discover places and spaces to eat, study and hang out, while also seeing where their classes will be held, and the various facilities each campus has to offer.
Friends and family even participated in an information session to learn how to best support their loved ones starting at Humber.
The fun continues next week with Welcome Week activities on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. From mix and mingle sessions to coffee, board games and volleyball, there’s definitely something for everyone. Find the detailed schedule for North and Lakeshore campus here.
