Welcome to Orientation!

The Orientation Team within Student Success and Engagement (SSE) is excited to welcome you to Humber and support you throughout your new journey at Humber College.

All full-time, registered students will receive a direct email with more information on all things Orientation in Auguest 2024, so keep an eye on your inbox!

From Aug 28th - Aug 30th, many academic programs will run program-specific information sessions called Meet Your Faculty (MYF) sessions. You'll receive more information about your specific program through a personalized email. If your program is running an MYF session, be sure to register and attend so that you can learn more about your program and ask any questions you may have!

Here is a brief breakdown of your Orientation Week:

Aug 28th, 2024

Lakeshore Campus - In-Person Orientation & Meet Your Faculty

The Orientation team at Lakeshore will be hosting mulitple activities on campus to welcome you to Humber! We want you to create your own journey as you enter the college by attending any activity that is being held. All lakeshore campus programs who have selected to run a in-person meet your faculty session will be run on Aug 28th from 10am - 3pm 

Principal's Welcome & MyIGS Portal 
IGS students will be welcomed by their Principal and learn more about MyIGS Portal. Please join us from 10am - 3pm.

Aug 29th, 2024

First Look @ IGS (International Graduate School) & Meet Your Faculty
IGS students are all welcome to join a session dedicated to you as you enter your semester. IGS will be facilitating there meet your faculty sessions in a Hybrid Format. Students will be emailed their session details in the coming weeks. Please join us from 10am - 3pm.

Meet Your Faculty - Virtual  
Programs who have selected to host a virtual meet your faculty session from IGS, North and Lakeshore campuses will run on Aug 29th from 10am - 3pm. 

Aug 30th, 2024

North Campus - In-Person Orientation & Meet Your Faculty
The Orientation team at North will be hosting mulitple activities on campus to welcome you to Humber! We want you to create your own journey as you enter the college by attending any activity that is being held. All north campus programs who have selected to run a in-person meet your faculty session will be run on Aug 30th from 10am - 3pm 

We'll also be hosting Welcome Events on-campus so that you can meet new friends and learn about the great resources that Humber has to offer.
