The college, the University of Guelph-Humber and the William Osler Health System recently established a COVID-19 vaccine clinic. The new location will increase access to the vaccine in North Etobicoke and provide work-integrated learning experiences for Humber students in various healthcare-related programs. Councilor Michael Ford toured the clinic and met with staff and students before it opened to the public.
The college recently received several awards for its academic initiatives, including its sixth Greenest Employer designation and Colleges and Institutes Canada (CICan) gold and bronze awards for Indigenous Education and Engagement and Humber International.
Students are also in the spotlight as the end of the Winter term brings impressive capstone projects, including a virtual presentation by students in Humber's Maintenance Management Professional (MMP) certificate program.
