The event addresses the need for more education on the use of inclusive communication in the workplace. It will consist of a panel discussion addressing issues of diversity and inclusion from BIPOC, LGBTQ+ and Indigenous perspectives, and matters related to ableism. There will also be a workshop and a networking session with food and refreshments.
We are welcoming a diverse range of guest speakers:
- Ariana Wabie (Indigenous Services Canada)
- Jordan Cullum (Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital Foundation)
- Semhar Misghina (Supply Ontario)
- Vince Ciarlo (Ciarlo Communications)
Our activities will be moderated by community activist and mentor Jefferson Darrell (Breakfast Culture).
