In an effort to update our Parking Systems database and to refresh our permits, Public Safety, Parking Services, is preparing to issue NEW General Full Time Staff Permits (see Example A). The change will affect Full Time Staff who still have the older version of the permit that park in lots #1 and #13 at the North Campus or lot #1 at the Lakeshore Campus (see Example B).

Parking maps:

Lakeshore: humber.ca/sites/default/files/uploads/documents/humber-college-lakeshore-campus-parking-map.pdf

During this process, the automated Parking Sales application will generate two emails: 1. A notice of reservation, 2. A confirmation of the acceptance of the payment through payroll deduction. These are bookkeeping documents within the system and will not duplicate the existing deduction with Payroll. Employees with an old version of the general permit will need to conduct an exchange for the new version. No other action on your part is required.

Between December 3rd and December 23rd, North Campus employees parking in lots #1 and #13 will need to attend the Main Parking Kiosk (by lot 7) to make the exchange. Lakeshore campus employees parking in lot #1 will need to attend the Security window at M building (Tim Horton’s) to process their exchange. We recommend that you drive up to each identified location to make the exchange rather than removing the permit from your vehicle while you are parked.

The new General Full time permit will be required to enter the parking lots effective January 4th, 2016.
