Paralegal Degree student wins Distinguished Advocate Award at Osgoode Cup

March 17, 2015

The Business School is pleased to announce that Paige Diebel, a member of Humber College’s mooting teams at the 2015 Osgoode Cup Mooting Competition received a top ten Distinguished Advocate Award, ranking 9th out of 184 participants.

This is beyond outstanding as this was the largest ever national undergraduate mooting competition featuring 92 teams from some 10 universities and three colleges. The mooting teams were drawn from such schools as Western, McGill, the University of Toronto, McMaster, Guelph, Carleton and the University of Guelph-Humbe.

This is the second award for Ms. Diebel, who won a Distinguished Advocate Award in last year’s competition as well.

Congrats,
James Cullin and Bernie Aron
