I am pleased to announce the appointment of Scott Valens to the position of Director, Capital Development and Spencer Wood to the position of Director, Facilities Management. 

As many of you know, both Scott and Spencer have provided many years of exemplary services at Humber. 

Scott joined Humber in 2006 as the Associate Director, Capital Development and staff architect.  Most recently, Scott has provided leadership over many strategic asset management initiatives.  In Scott’s new role, he will provide leadership to the Capital Development process including the implementation of major capital projects as well as the Capital Works team.

Spencer joined Humber in 1999 as a Project Coordinator, and was the Manager, Maintenance and Operations at Lakeshore from 2007 - 2012. Most recently, Spencer was the Associate Director, Facilities Management and provided administrative leadership over facilities for both the Lakeshore and North campuses.  In his new role, Spencer will continue with the management oversight of facilities for both campuses as well as lead strategic initiatives for facilities.
