WHO CAN SUBMIT ARTWORK?
All full-time and part-time students can submit artwork.
WHEN AND WHERE CAN ARTWORK BE SUBMITTED?
All artist must complete and submit the online submission form, attach it to the artwork and submit it to one of the on-campus submission locations listed below. Submission dates are March 11 - 15, 2019, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm at the following locations:
- North Campus: KX202, IGNITE Office
- Lakeshore Campus: K204, IGNITE Office & ART208, Art Commons
- Orangeville Campus: O208A, Administration Office
IS THERE A LIMIT TO HOW MANY PIECES OF ARTWORK THAT CAN BE SUBMITTED?
Each student can submit a maximum of two pieces of artwork.
WHAT KIND OF ARWORK CAN BE SUBMITTED?
Artwork must have been created in the past year. All photography, paintings and drawings must be mounted or framed for display on an easel. Art categories include:
- Colour Photography
- Monochromatic Photography
- Mixed Media
- Three-Dimensional Art
WHAT ARE THE PRIZES?
The following prizes are awarded in each of the art categories:
- Juror’s Pick: $100
- First Place: $100
- Second Place: $75
- Third Place: $50
- Honourable Mention: $25 Bookstore Gift Card
HOW ARE WINNING ART PIECES SELECTED?
Winning art pieces are selected by a panel of jurors consisting of members from the local art community.
WHEN ARE THE RESULTS ANNOUNCED?
Results will be announced during the week of March 25. All winning artist will be presented with their certificates and prizes at the Art Show Reception on Wednesday, April 1, 2019 in the K Cottage at the Lakeshore Campus. and invited to attend the awards reception.

- Lakeshore Campus - K Cottage, April 1, 2019
WHEN WILL ARTWORK BE RETURNED?
Artwork is available for pick-up at the submission locations April 15-26. Please note that all unclaimed art will become Humber Property as of April 26.
