She's assisting job seekers with multiple barriers in their search to obtain a fulfilling career. She has a degree in Psychology, hold certificates in True Colors, Personality Dimensions and Adult Learning and over eight years of experience in career coaching and employment facilitation. Janet joined CAS in 2005.
Nelson Chan holds a bachelor's degree in Engineering, a certificate in Personnel and Industrial Relations and possesses the CHRL designation. He is a recruiter with over 15 years of corporate recruitment experience in various industries.
Nelson brings much enthusiasm along with a strong passion and commitment in providing career counselling, coaching and motivational empowerment to individuals.
Juliet has a long history of career and employment advising, job development and possesses strong management and leadership abilities. Juliet managed and coordinated adult evening courses through the Peel Board of Education and a variety of employment and training programs for students, unemployed and newcomer individuals.
Juliet has a zeal for helping individuals from all walks of life that need advice and coaching to help them realized their true potential and to be successful in their educational, career and employment goals and objectives.
Lavinia Karp is a career specialist with the Centre for Education & Training where she manages a high case load while maintaining a 95% customer satisfaction rate. In that capacity she delivers 1 on 1 employment counselling developing employment action plans in collaboration with her clients. She works with a range of clients including adults, youth and newcomers.
Lavinia has more than fifteen years of experience in the employment counselling field that includes work with Employment Services, Youth Opportunities, Parliament ERC and Adecco Employment Services. She has her Business Administration Diploma from Humber College, the Common Assessment Certificate from George Brown College and recently completed the Career Development Theories Certificate with the Career Development Practitioners’ Certification Board of Ontario.
Genuine employment and career coach with over 10 years of experience working with a range of diverse clients in the field. Inna possesses a degree in Psychology & Education and postgraduate diploma in Career and Work Counselling from George Brown College.
Her professional philosophy is to work attentively and honestly with a healthy dose of realism in order to assist clients to achieve their career and employment goals through self-awareness, compassion and knowledge. Many of her clients were able to upgrade their skills, to attain professional licenses and secure professional jobs in different fields. Inna enjoys helping her clients reach their full potential by offering a wide variety of resources and options to help them reach their goals.
Pragya is a recent graduate from George Brown College where she completed her Postgraduate Certificate in Career Development Practitioner program. She holds a degree in Psychology along with that. She worked as a placement student in Career and Advising Services at Humber College where she had one-on-one sessions with students and facilitated workshops related to Resumes, Cover Letters, LinkedIn and Interviews.
She is passionate when it comes to working with students, with an aim to motivate them so they can present themselves professionally while showcasing the strong skill set they bring to a field.
