Humber IGS Student Wins Best Presentation in Data Visualization Challenge

A Humber IGS student is celebrating after being awarded best presentation and finishing as first runner-up in a competition that tested competitors' analytic and data visualization skills. Suleman Kunda and his team explored the issue of housing costs for vulnerable populations.

A project on the cost of housing for Ontario's vulnerable populations earned Humber IGS student Suleman Kunda a best presentation award and a first runner-up finish at the ECOP Data Viz Challenge '22. The project found that almost 80 per cent of the province's vulnerable populations are living in unsuitable, unaffordable or inadequate housing.
