Follow Steps 1 to 10 to navigate the admission process from finding your program to finding your way to Orientation, this road map will ensure that you get everything done on time.

Once you have some programs in mind, you can research them on Humber's program pages.
If you have questions about the programs you've researched you can book an appointment to speak with a Program Advisor.
Applications to Humber are made through ontariocolleges.ca. Be sure to submit your application by the equal consideration deadline of February 1. You may apply after February 1, however, post-February 1 applications will be considered on a first-come, first-served basis depending on the availability of the space in the program. To check program availability refer to the Campus/Availability listing on Humber's program pages or ontariocolleges.ca.
If English is not your first language, or if your previous education has been conducted in another language, you will need to demonstrate proficiency in English.
If you’re an international student, you can apply directly to Humber via our International Centre.
October 2017 - ontariocolleges.ca begins accepting applications in October.
November 2017 - Colleges begin to receive application information from ontariocolleges.ca in late November. Once we've received your application, we'll contact you with information about tracking your application status in MyHumber.
February 1, 2018 - All applications received by ontariocolleges.ca on or before February 1 will be given equal consideration in the application process. Applicants may still apply to open programs if space permits. Check program availability on the program page or by visiting ontariocolleges.ca.
When you apply, be sure to use a valid email address as Humber will use this email address to contact you throughout the admission process.
After you’ve applied, you’ll be emailed your username and password for MyHumber. MyHumber is the student portal you'll use to track your application, as well as pay fees and register for classes once you're a student.
Submit your educational documents to ontariocolleges.ca. Grades will be transmitted electronically for all applicants currently enrolled in an Ontario high school.
Check to see if your program has Additional Requirements. You may need to submit a portfolio, attend an audition, or write a test. Details are specified in the Admission Requirements section of the Program pages.
If required, contact Humber Accessibility Services to arrange accommodations for Admissions Testing.
Track the status of your application through Humber’s student portal: MyHumber. We'll send you an email with your username and password after you’ve applied.
Depending on your program, you may have to complete testing, submit a portfolio or come to campus for an assessment or audition. If your program has Additional Requirements, you can see the details under Admission Requirements on the program information page.

February 1, 2018 - This is the first date that offers of admission can be made to applicants to all Humber programs.
ontariocolleges.ca will automatically notify Humber of your decision.
Confirming your offer is an exciting step in your journey, but if you’ve applied to more than one program at Humber, you may receive an offer from one program and still be waiting to hear from another. In this situation, applicants are often worried that accepting the offer they have will mean losing a chance to get into the program they’re waiting to hear from.
There are two different situations you may find yourself in and it’s important to understand the difference between them.
If Program A and Program B both send you offers at the same time, when you accept the offer from Program A you are declining your offer from Program B.
If Program A sends you an offer but Program B has not given you an admission decision, you can accept the offer from Program A without any impact on your status with Program B. If Program B sends you an offer at a later date, you can accept that offer and the offer you previously accepted to Program A will automatically be declined.

May 1, 2018 - You must confirm your offer of admission. Confirmations are made at ontariocolleges.ca. Confirmations made after May 1 will be accepted if space is available in the program. Refer to your offer letter for your confirmation deadline.
Don't lose your seat! You need to pay a non-refundable tuition deposit of $500 (domestic students) or the full first semester tuition fees (new international students) on MyHumber by the tuition deposit deadline to maintain a seat in your program.
New domestic students, your remaining account balance will be finalized after you register for classes.

Some students pay rent while others have to keep the car tank full. No matter who you are, you can always use a little help when you're studying. Find information about applying for bursaries, scholarships and the Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP) so you can keep your focus on school.
June 2018 - Your $500 tuition deposit is due. Make sure you get your payment in by the Fees Due Deadline* because your offer of admission could be withdrawn if your tuition deposit is not made on time.
*Fees Due Date to be determined. Your offer letter will have the exact date.
Many Humber programs require Computerized College Placement Tests (CCPT). This testing is not for admission. It’s to make sure you’re placed in the correct English and (if applicable) math courses.
Book your CCPT through Humber's Testing Services. You can take your CCPT online from anywhere in the world or at one of Humber's Testing Services locations.

If you’re planning on living in residence, fill out your residence application online as soon as possible. Residence spaces are offered on a first come, first served basis.
