Who is teaching sustainability?

Some of us teach subjects that easily incorporate units and assignments related sustainability. Others need to get creative and find the opportunities.

The topic of sustainability can be approached from many different angles; the trick is finding the angle that works for your course.

To get a sense of how courses at Humber are already incorporating sustainability, feel free to explore the many courses that address aspects of sustainability. See a complete list of sustainability-focused and sustainability-inclusive courses.

Humber also offers several programs closely connected to sustainability:

  1. Sustainable Energy Building Technology Program
  2. Bachelor of Applied Technology - Industrial Design
  3. Bachelor of Interior Design
  4. International Development Certificate
  5. Horticulture Technician Apprenticeship
  6. Diploma Landscape Technician
  7. Advanced Diploma Architectural Technology
  8. Sustainability Stream of General Arts and Sciences - College and Degree Transfer

While it is natural for sustainability to be included in these courses and programs, faculty across disciplines have found creative ways to introduce their students to sustainability as they achieve the critical learning outcomes that will help them find success once they leave Humber.
