Join our Orientation and First Year Experience Team! 

We are looking for energetic and positive team players to welcome new Humber students. Orientation is a great way to build new friendships, share your experiences with incoming students, and improve your leadership skills. 

As a Student Life Volunteer you can expect a variety of tasks including but not limited to: 

  • Set-Up and Tear-Down of multiple events that are hosted by the Orientation Team 
  • Welcoming and guiding students during academic orientation 
  • Assisting with registration and crowd control 
  • Work with Humber staff and fellow student leaders during Welcome Month stations 
  • Facilitating icebreakers with students and keeping them engaged
  • Sharing your experiences with new students 
  • Assisting on Residence Move-In day 
  • Be a part of fun events & socials with your Student Life teams 
  • Be recognized and representatives of the Humber Student Community   
  • Grow and develop skillsets in leadership, communication, and networking 
  • And much more! 

All necessary training will be provided.

Location: North Campus, Lakeshore Campus, IGS Campus 

Fall Orientation Welcome Month
Date: September 3rd - September 27th 
Time: Various shifts 
Location: North Campus, Lakeshore Campus, IGS Campus
