Art Description (What inspired you to create the artwork?) As a black woman growing in art, i have found myself fascinated in the beauty of curls. Usually curly or kinky hair is often seen as messy and or unkept and i wanted to challenge this believe by showing how beautiful the individual curls of natural hair look.
