Art Description (What inspired you to create the artwork?) At the time of creating this piece I had been in the closet and felt confused, left in the dark, and unsure of how to continue. I felt "murky". This painting is a kind reminder of what I've grown from. What really drives this home and completes this piece for me is my deadname signed in the corner.
