Art Description (What inspired you to create the artwork?) Justin Estcourt is one of my favorite inspirational artists on Instagram. I was going through a tough time and wanted to create art that describes my struggles. That's when I came across his drawing of storming night with heavy rainfall, thundering, and a small boat struggling to make its way out. I could relate to it and also wrote a poem describing my art. It goes like this:
Our life is like a storm.
When you're in the middle of it,
you can't think outside of it.
Having great faith within,
it brings out the greatest beauty of yourself.
A clear sky and rainbow being your only hope,
loved ones being gold,
the only way to move out of it,
is to ride through it.
Eventually, you'll be surprised to see,
it's a lot clearer on the other side.
