Art Description (What inspired you to create the artwork?) This hand painted tote bag design was inspired by artwork from the Day of the Dead holiday which originated in Mexico. Vibrant, detailed skulls with floral decorations are displayed on this day to celebrate deceased loved ones. I utilized a colour scheme of grey on the skull and contrasted it with the blue, pink and red roses which complimented each other and added the vibrant element I aimed to achieve.
What year was the artwork created? 2021
