I've gained such an appreciation for the industrial/man made in a natural environment. The idea of mother nature taking over, her slow and quiet revenge. The idea of persistence, like a river making it's path.
With all my sketches and iterations of this bridge, the many perspectives that can be seen just by changing your viewpoint, I've learned to see the different speeds to experience the world, and how these paths merge and intersect.
I'm so thankful to have the opportunity to paint this. I've grown so much.
