Art Description (What inspired you to create the artwork?) I'm an international student from the Philippines and in May 2022, we're going to have our national elections. It's my first time voting and I wanted to use my skill in the arts to help campaign for Leni Robredo, a presidential candidate who I believe is the right fit to serve the Filipinos. Leni's campaign color is pink and based on that, I wanted to make an artwork where pink is part of the color palette, so I came up with a digital artwork of a girl with pink hair. The connection to my candidate of choice is there, albeit subtle and low-key. Leni Robredo is my role model and she served as the inspiration for this piece.
