Art Description (What inspired you to create the artwork?) What inspired me to create this artwork was the level of stress I had at the beginning of this school year. Although I was stressed with the new school year and the amount of work load I had received the first month, I decided that in order to maintain better self care to help minimize my stress and anxiety I needed to indulge myself in new hobbies and interests. Within this time. I was also going through a major break up with an individual I had been in a relationship with for approximately 3 1/2 years. I was very emotionally unstable and developed major anxiety because of this. So I decided to paint. Painting makes me focus on my own creativity and it helps me express any emotion I’m feeling.
