Art Description (What inspired you to create the artwork?) This artwork was inspired by the beautiful colour of cut grapefruit and a passion for grapefruit flavoured soda. Challenged to create an original still life study, ordinary object found around the house were carefully chosen and placed together to create a well composed work of art. Using the elements of colour and shape combined with the principles of asymmetrical balance and texture to create for an appreciation of the taste of grapefruit.
