Art Description (What inspired you to create the artwork?) In life, we generally seek to explore and discover ourselves and our potential so we are constantly trying to define our identities. I used a pencil next to the uncomfortable face because sometimes we aren't always the ones holding the tool that draws on our canvas. Others can influence or control one's identity be it family, the employer or a partner all with their own expectations whether reasonable or unreasonable.
