Art Description (What inspired you to create the artwork?) I loved how the natural sunlight captured my friends true beauty and wanted to recreate the photograph as identically as I could. The waves of her baby hair, the highlight on the tips of her face, all portray to me how beautiful melanin features are highlighted by sunlight in ways that people don’t always realize.
