Art Description (What inspired you to create the artwork?) I came up with the idea of these Titans by examining paintings by Francisco de Goya and Oswaldo Guayasamin.
Francisco de Goya in one of his paintings represented war with a Colossus figure on a battlefield, I try to do an inversion of that by questioning the nature of the titans and the knight in the middle. The design of the titans' faces were inspired by Oswaldo Guayasamin's artwork, he is one of my favorite artists and he inspires me to represent my culture in all the ways that I can.
