Social pressure faced by women in 60s

Original Piece
I love the movie <<In the Mood for Love>>, which is a story based on 1960s in Hong Kong, where women faced huge social pressure on their outfits, freedom and life decisions. Married women felt pressured from gossips in neighbourhood. They were always required to dress in tight and inconvenient cheongsam.
In the movie, the main character Li-zhen was asked “If I had a spare ferry ticket, would you follow me?” but she rejected because of the social pressure.
I created this imaginary scene that Li-zhen rejected the “invitation” but she showed up at the pier.
There are the three main elements in the scene: Li-zhen, ferry ticket and the ferry.
