Art Description (What inspired you to create the artwork?) This is a portrait I took of my partner over the winter break on my first ever roll of black and white film. We often walk together in this cemetary over the holidays, and we thought it would be the perfect place to practice taking portraits on film. I'm really fond of this image (beyond sentimental value) because I believe the composition and background create a compelling image with its own stories.
