The fact that I was tired and exhausted from the amount of work I had in my life led me to paint Sing In The Storm. I had been working two jobs and attending school. When I felt I was nearing my breaking point, I dropped everything and started painting. I was able to see the colour in my life by appreciating everything I did, and I understood that this is my world, even though I feel alone and things are crazy right now. It's similar to singing in the rain, in that it's not a great day, but it's not a bad day, and you're just there, so that's all there is to it.
