Art Description (What inspired you to create the artwork?) My perpetual love for sunsets and skies has inspired me to create ‘a piece of sky’. I look forward to skies and sunsets and clouds more than ever, it makes me happy and calm. There’s something comforting in the continual presence of sky. It feels otherworldly, spiritual, freeing and magical. For me the sky is a symbol for expansiveness, representing the potential to imagine, dream and be hopeful and to think beyond the four walls, sky offers a sense of escape.
