Art Description (What inspired you to create the artwork?) This work was inspired by my own struggles with mental health. Every day above ground should be a blessing but for some it may feel like a burden. When I viewed life through the lens of a camera I started to find different perspectives which ultimately saved my life. By employing the Zeigarnik effect I aimed to create an image that makes the viewer uneasy all while keeping the subject anonymous. I hope to inspire viewers of my work to take a step back and look at things from a different perspective, as I did when I picked up a camera.
