Art Description (What inspired you to create the artwork?) Concepts such as "learned helplessness" and "imposter syndrome" formed the basis of this artwork. The psychological terms and approaches I have learned since I started getting therapy inspire the artworks I produce. I continued to express myself by producing art in each therapy session where I discovered myself more.
Being an international student and having the courage to get away from home and loved ones is one of the defining aspects of me, yes. However, what is felt on the other side of the coin is not always positive. Feeling like helpless, imposter, and selfish is also a part of this process. I see them and embody them with this artwork.
