Art Description (What inspired you to create the artwork?) Unlike of ancestors, we can deviate from seasonal conditions through technology. In place of barren winter, we grow tropical plants from faraway places indoors. And in the absence of sun, we have lamps designed to replicate natural daylight in order to fend off the winter blues or any urge to hibernate. This image features pothos twining around a lamp typically used for seasonal affective disorder.
What year was the artwork created? 2023
