Art Description (What inspired you to create the artwork?) This year's theme being EUPHORIA, I decided to create a visual representation of the relationship between Rue and Jules within the original show. Jules represents joy, a living goal of sobriety and love. Her brighter colours signify the positive side of what she provides, which is a drug within itself. Rue is a drug addict, and her darker colour scheme represents the darker consequence of drug abuse. It may feel good within the moment (i.e. Thrills Formula), but since the living goal of sobriety and love (Jules) can't be by Rue's side constantly, then the Thrills Formula is bound to run out.
