Art Description (What inspired you to create the artwork?) What captivated me about this scene was the way in which the branches of the trees looked like roots, but instead of growing the ground, they appeared to be extending into our world from the sky. I was also inspired by the sap dripping from the tree ever so slowly, almost as if the tree were alive, breathing and living freely in this world with us.
