Art Description (What inspired you to create the artwork?) It's 2045 and I've been living off-grid for 5 years. One day, this extraterrestrial life form crash-lands into my chicken coop. The chickens are a little spooked, feathers a little ruffled, but luckily no one is hurt. I try to speak to the visitor, but they do not understand French or English. That's okay, we find ways to communicate and I give them tomatoes, spinach, kale, and carrots, which they seem to love. They sleep during the day while I garden, and spend the nights repairing their ship. One day, as suddenly as they arrived, they are gone again. The chicken coop is repaired and the ground raked even. I plant a new garden in this freshly-tilled patch of earth in honour of my friend.
