Art Description (What inspired you to create the artwork?) I began collecting aluminum pop can tabs this year in support of a friend making a dress with them, and some of my most fond memories of last summer are the long processes of washing and drying the many thousands I had collected in the warm outdoor sunlight. The diversity inside uniformity of the vast seas of tabs was an image that fascinated me, and I was compelled to take a photo on my Nikon FM-2 35mm film camera.
