My grandmother is a professional calligrapher. I have been watching her writing calligraphy since I was a child, so I thought every grandmother could do this. As I grew up, I realized that she was very talented and I was so proud of her. Her works were accepted many times by the Calligraphy Exhibitions.
Now she is too old to do her job. She can't even walk without her cane but I still remember her practicing calligraphy in her room. Therefore, I decided to make one big artwork by collaborating with one of her works.
To match her style of work, I painted a girl dressed in Korean traditional clothes.
What I tried to do this time was to respect what she has been doing throughout her life.
