Art Description (What inspired you to create the artwork?) I took this as part of my documentary photo series for my Photography Fundamentals class last semester. I wanted to explore the decay of the more run-down subway stations, which I've always found unsettling yet interesting. While I was shooting, I wound up also capturing the simultaneous claustrophobia and isolation that I feel at a lot of these stations. This one was taken at St. Clair West station.
