Celebrate Bike Month with Humber's Office of Sustainability and SmartCommute!

Join us for a scenic and invigorating bike ride along the waterfront! Starting from the historic Humber Lakeshore Campus, this event promises breathtaking views, fresh lake breezes, and a fun-filled evening for cyclists of all levels.

Whether you’re an avid cyclist or just looking for a leisurely ride, the Humber Lakeside Ride is perfect for you. We will start with a short route around the Colonel Samuel Smith Park, and then venture on a longer ride to Humber Bay Park. You can access the ride map online.

What you can expect:

  • Scenic Routes: Enjoy two routes that highlight the best of the Lakeshore’s natural beauty, local points of interest, and plenty of opportunities for photos.
  • Community: Meet fellow cycling enthusiasts and share the joy of riding together in a supportive, friendly atmosphere.
  • Rest Stations: Take a break from pedaling and grab a snack at conventionally located rest stations.
  • Bike Month Contest: Log your bike trips on the Smart Commute app (Android or iOS) for a chance to win one of five $100 e-gift card, courtesy of the City of Toronto.

What to Bring:

  • A well-maintained bicycle and helmet
  • Water bottle
  • Wear comfortable cycling attire
  • Sunscreen

Join us for a memorable evening of cycling in the stunning scenery of the Lakeshore. Let’s pedal together and make this an unforgettable ride!
