Meet a few birds of prey with Wild Ontario. Hear their stories, discover their secrets, and experience them up close. It’ll be a hoot! Get to know a few different owl species at this interactive and family-friendly event.

You’ll also meet a hawk, in honour of Humber Polytechnic’s Howie the Hawk!

  • Observe the behaviours and unique features of live owls and hawks.
  • Learn how wildlife is cared for and conserved in Ontario.
  • Experience the thrill of connecting with nature in a safe, engaging setting.

Event Details

When: Wednesday, February 25 from 1 to 2:30 p.m.
Where: Inside the Centre for Urban Ecology at the Humber Arboretum, located behind the Humber Polytechnic North Campus.
Who: This event is open to all.
How: Registration is required and space is limited. Tickets are free, with a suggested donation of $20 per person made to our Nature for All Fund.
