USING THE IMPORTANT DATES EVENT MODULE

Getting Started

1. Login to humber.ca/hq

2. Go to Web Tools in the top menu bar

3. Select "Events Module" from the side menu, not "Events (Humber Today)"

4. Scroll to "Important Dates" in the table and click "View Categories"

5. You will see "Humber" and click "View Events"

Add or Edit an Important Dates Event

1. Choose to either "Edit" or "Add Event"

2. Add the Event Title

3. If you need to add a link for the event

    3a. Under "Template" select "Custom"

    3b. Then fill in the "Custom Url" field with the desired link

4. Select the "Sub Categories"

    4a. You can select multiple: CE, Current Students and Future Students

    4b. If you want the Important Dates Event to show on all feeds, then select all 3

5. Fill in the "Start Date"

6. Click Add

7. You will be taken back to the Event list, you now have to click Publish in order for the event to show on the website

Important Date Events - Website

1. All the Important Date Events will display on the Humber Home page

2. Important Date Events that are tagged with the Sub Category - "Future Students" will display on the Future Students home page

3. Important Date Events that are tagged with the Sub Category - "Current Students" will display on the Current Students home page

4. Important Date Events that are tagged with the Sub Category - "CE" will display on the Continuous Professional Learning home page
