Tell Me More About The Widget

The "Widget" is the top (light blue) banner that holds and reveals all program details. Take a look through the open/close drawers in the widget to get familiar with the important information contained here.

Information in the Program Widget

Information that appears in the widget is specific to the individual program pages. The open/close drawers answer many of the questions that future students will have about entering a program. Related links are offered within these details to help the viewer find the further information they are looking for.

Help! How do I request a change to information in the widget??

Information in the widget is managed by several experts in different departments across Humber. There are processes in place that guide the decisions made around the details related to each program. Some involve more processes, and more time, than others. To help expedite the process, a Request Form is being implemented into the widget that will automatically direct your request to the right department. In the meantime, see below for a quick overview of each tab, with contact details.

 

Program Details

Program Name, Credential Type, OCAS Code and Length of Program information is static and streamed onto the program pages via the Program Data Module (PDM). This information is managed by Marketing and the Office of the Registrar.

Request for changes to program details are to be emailed to Programedits@humber.ca via your School's Marketing Manager.

Academic Year: The Academic Year toggle switches information in this widget, and on the program page to content related to the year showing in the toggle. This relates to Program Name, Fees, Descriptions and Course Curriculum. 

Admission Requirements

This section houses all of the admission requirements required for this program, including Primary Requirements, Secondary Requirements and Post-Admission Requirements. Primary and Secondary Requirements are critical to a Future Student during the Admission Process. This information is static and is maintained by the Office of the Registrar. Post-Admission Requirements are linked from the Admission Requirements tab as well as from the Work Placement information further down on the program page. These requirements are current and pertain to field placements or have implications for program progression and/or future employment.

Request for changes to primary and secondary admission requirements are to be emailed to Programedits@humber.ca via your School's Marketing Manager.

Start Dates/Campus/Availabiity

The details refer to the where, when, and if, the program is open for applications. The status shown is current, updated by the Office of the Registrar and is a resource for domestic and international students to use to check program availability. International recruiters and students will maintain the ability to check program availabilty by listing on the International Centre website. International availability is current and maintained by the International Office.

Fees/Scholarships

This drawer shows Fees by Semesters as well as offering a link to Humber Scholarships. In the next phase the scholarship tab will note scholarships specific to this program. Specific scholarships that apply to your school can be promoted in the Promotional Area of the program pages.

Pathways

The pathways tab leads to a variety of options specific to this program, including, alternative courses of study, future study options and other transfer options. Follow the link to Transfer Options to see the tools that are available to users to quickly find pathways in and out of programs using toggle features. Here the user will find a landing page to help them self identify if they require Transfer In, Transfer Within, or Transfer Out resources.

You will note that Contact Us holds the program coordinator contact as well as several other ways a Future Student can communicate with Humber.

This refers to the content on the program page that is active - the visual experience, including the photos and videos as well as the storytelling components.
