Marketing and Communications, in collaboration with the academic schools and many departments across the college, is pleased to present our newest publications.
This year we have introduced several changes. For 2016/2017 we've combined our Viewbook and Degree Viewbook into a single publication. Additionally, the Program Calendar – which has been printed on brighter, easier to read and eco-friendly paper – combines the Postsecondary and Postgraduate Calendars. These changes support Humber’s polytechnic identity by showcasing our breadth of programs and highlighting all our postsecondary options in one place, making it easier for students to map out their education.
Another change for this year is the development of a Viewbook microsite that will provide a more interactive experience for prospective students. The microsite will launch in September, in time for the recruitment season, and will allow us to introduce more images, videos and relevant links to enhance the user experience. More information about the microsite will be provided closer to the launch date.
The recruitment team will use the Viewbook, Program Calendar and the Viewbook microsite to promote Humber to prospective students, guidance counsellors and parents. The print publications will also be made available at upcoming college and university fairs.
Based on a survey sent to our entire distribution list for our printed program calendars, we learned that demand for our printed publications remains high. We will continue to send them to schools, community groups, career centres, hospitals, libraries, government agencies and corporations. The 2016/2017 full-time program information will be online at humber.ca/program/listings/a-z in mid-September.
Over the next week, the academic schools and various departments here at Humber will receive copies of the Viewbook and Calendar. If you require additional copies, please contact the mailroom directly (North at ext. 4363, Lakeshore at ext. 3245).
